About Me

I believe in the power of learning and unlearning to create supportive and equitable communities and work places. By turning the mirror to understand ourselves we are able to build deeper relationships, lead with others, and grow our own capacity to create change.
I have spent the past fifteen years leading teams through organizational change, developing staff, and rebuilding departments and programs to center equity, collaboration, and growth.
My approach involves empowering individuals to understand themselves in relation to others as a foundational tool for leading and working with teams. Recognizing that systemic inequities exist in all organizations, I center looking inward to understand our own biases and assumptions to grow our capacity for caring, understanding, and change.

I have consulted with corporate groups, institutions of higher education, religious organizations, and individuals to foster greater equity in the workplace and support organizations and individuals through change and conflict. I am excited for the opportunity to work with you!

Testimonials

Dr. Braelin Pantel, V.P. of Student Affairs

I attribute much of my learning about how to create equitable and just learning environments to my work with Brandi. Brandi is a patient and persistent teacher, tailoring her approach to the individual’s need and level of understanding. She’s able to meld theoretical perspectives with applicable context, bringing to light practical strategies that are workable in specific settings. She ‘gets’ context and can account for the reality of nuanced political and interpersonal dynamics in her work. Brandi asks excellent thought-provoking questions and [gently] holds others accountable to their espoused goals and priorities
